Brave woman confronts man who hacked soldier to death

Brave woman:
A mother-of-two described tonight how she put her own life on the line by trying to persuade the soldier’s murderers to hand over their weapons.

The cub scout leader selflessly engaged the terrorists in conversation and kept her nerve as one of them told her: “We want to start a war in London tonight.”

Mrs Loyau-Kennett, 48, from Cornwall, was one of the first people on the scene after the two Islamic extremists butchered a soldier in Woolwich, south east London.

“And then when I went up there was this black guy with a revolver and a kitchen knife, he had what looked like butcher’s tools and he had a little axe, to cut the bones, and two large knives and he said 'move off the body’.

“So I thought 'OK, I don’t know what is going on here’ and he was covered with blood. I thought I had better start talking to him before he starts attacking somebody else. I thought these people usually have a message so I said 'what do you want?’

“I asked him if he did it and he said yes and I said why? And he said because he has killed Muslim people in Muslim countries, he said he was a British solider and I said really and he said 'I killed him because he killed Muslims and I am fed up with people killing Muslims in Afghanistan they have nothing to do there.”

Given Britain's increasing Islamic population, an attack of this sort was only a matter of time.

Christian countries are should be the best place to convert these sorts of people, and yet countries such as England (and New Zealand) instead want to increasingly marginalise those who hold Christian beliefs.

It's insane.

  1. Had the Christian churches spoken out and stood up for European culture and for Christians, this wouldn't be happening.
The church leadership is as culpable as the politicians.

  2. The video clip has been edited. The media keep asking why and he tells why but no one believed him? The Muslim communities are right to condemn the act but at the same time they don't explain what he says and WHY its wrong.

I think that his act is justified by Islam and that alone explains him and the official muslim responses.

  4. Sorry...I'm posting in bits and pieces.

This Muslim warrior is right about one thing...the British government doesn't care about the people but prefer to protect there nice idea of multiculturalism. In most cases it works but clearly with an ascendant Islam it doesn't.

Whenever one wants to call Islam out on this sort of thing the next voice almost always says...'but what's wrong with Muslims?". Clearly nothing is wrong with Muslims even this poor deluded fellow. What is wrong is Islam.

It is what the texts say and example of Mohammed. Quite simply if a follower of Islam becomes fervent this sort of action will become a correct action.

I don't think Islam can change as this sort of action lies at the heart of it.

Jesus said...'there will be a time when those who kill you will think they are doing worship for God"

    There you have it.

  5. Thanks for that link, Lindalee, and there's no problem with the multiple comments. :) I have to agree with you on what you said, in that the problem isn't Muslims, it's Islam. The man in the video above, I think, is a recent convert - so he would have been reading about his new religion. There are many Muslims who ignore that part of their religion, but there are some who don't, and that is the problem.

KG, I agree, and would add that since Christianity underpins our culture, they also needed to be standing up for the Christian faith, which they have not been doing. As an example, there is a story in yesterday's Dominion Post where the paper interviewed an Anglican priest, who was the Anglican exorcist for Wellington, and the man didn't even believe in demons! And the Catholic Archbishop didn't see the need to appoint a Catholic exorcist, even though he was required by Church law to do so. Tip of the iceberg stuff, but if Christian clerics don't even follow their own religion on which our culture rests, how can they stand up for their own culture?

  6. I think the western culture has been chopping at its Christian roots since the 16th Century.

Islam hasn't changed even prior to that. Interested thinkers try to separate out the problem child within it, that is responsible of 'Islamism'. At the moment Salafism is the culprit. A few years ago some would point to Sufism as peacefully different. (The Chechen Muslims rather prove them wrong).

I don't think Islam can consider itself authentically Islam if it is to be under secular law and simply one multicultural expression among others. It needs to be the lawgiver. Everyone else are the wicked ones who can't prosper and Allah gives Muslim the mandate to be his agents of wrath to make sure we give Allah's Islamic law due respect.

Well it will take care of gay marriage, homosexuality, dogs, portrait painting, Churches, Jews, all music except drums, scantily clothed women, fat rich westerners, freedom, democracy, Christian Kings and Queens, building funds for crumbling religious buildings, pork, uncircumcised females, women who don't want to get married, serial marriage made polygamous, expensive divorce settlements.

  7. Lindalee, yes I agree that actively, "western culture has been chopping at its Christian roots since the 16th Century". But, it goes back further. I wonder how much the Black Death had to do with it. We've had our own version of that in recent times - WWI and II. I think if you wipe out enough of the heroic, then their descendants are left floundering for a long time, especially if they are not well connected to God.
